They are involved in leading on student voice, designing the RSE programme, meeting visitors, supporting at after school events and in interviewing potential new staff. They also have the most important task of coordinating and designing their year 13 prom!
The senior team comprises of four students, two senior lead students and two deputies. The application process begins at the end of the Easter term of year 12 and the voting completed early in the summer term of year 12. To apply, students need to write a letter of interest to their head of year and then give a presentation to their peers on why they would make an excellent senior team member. The students then vote on who they believe will be best in the role.
